After the culmination of a rigorous 3 month business incubator program, the govi.ai team participated in a demo day alongside the 9 other agri technology, sustainable packaging and food start ups at Hatch Works in Colombo.
This event was an opportunity for Sri Lankan green start ups to demonstrate their products and services to a selected group of decision makers in the green innovation sector.
The govi.ai team showcased the latest additions to the govi.ai platform and greenhouse automation by incorporating the sensors and controllers into a tabletop portable greenhouse.
The greenhouse incorporated lightweight components to allow for easy portability. It included temperature and humidity (RH) monitoring, with automated sprinkler/misting system, and exhaust fans.
All of the parameters and controls were managed by the govi.ai control unit, which could be interacted with through the cloud platform and built-in display.
The Green Innovation Lab incubator program was managed by Hatch Works, and was supported through funding from both the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
